There Must Be a Better Way
Radiant Panel Technologies (RPT) realized the many issues with Hydronic embedded systems and decided that there has to be a better way. RPT created the Fiberglass Reinforces Polymer (FRP), the first and only ice and snowmelt system that also meets the requirements for ADA compliance. The self-contained radiant heat panels install easily and are entirely replaceable without concrete demolition. The power is managed by RPT’s patented Pulse Control Technology (PCT). These systems are designed for use in all public spaces where temperatures drop below freezing. Heating and power components are accessible from the topside for repairs if needed.
What Makes it So SMART?
RPT’s Solution is the most efficient and controllable snowmelt technology on the market. Our System used energy-efficient, long-lasting graphene resistive ink to heat that is nearly as strong as steel with ⅓ of the weight. Our System has less than .01% degradation rate annually.
It is easy to install with mechanical anchor installation–topically installed (not embedded in concrete), features a non-corrosive, stain-impervious top finish that protects the concrete and is slip-resistant. There are no moving parts or maintenance and eliminates concrete freeze/thaw breakage common in embedded systems
Our System is repairable and replaceable on-site and is Surface tested to 3,000 lbs/0 tip pressure wash. Intelligent temperature controls using real-time multiple sensor environmental data also capture and store data on all-weather events, including video that can be accessed in the cloud from any location, available with ADA compliant detectable warning or anti-slip walking surface. Multiple sizes and colors and is engineered to fit the application.
